We are looking for volunteers of all ages with medical qualification to support our communities in need of medical/Heath Care support. The communities are found in Limbe, Mundemba, Sumbe Village all in the South West and Esu, Wum, Weh Villages in Bamenda in the North West Province of Cameroon. The communities are English speaking and will be able to provide accommodation to Volunteers who are all Health Care staff. Due to our limited finances, we give priority to volunteers and interns who can completely take care of their travail and stay within our Organization for the stated periods. In some cases, Like Esu Village in the North West Province we would be able to provide between 30-50% co-funding of the cost. This is because Esu Village has no practicing Medical Doctor. And to encourage Volunteers to come, this community Leaders would be providing a free accommodation but Volunteers should apply at least three Months before their arrival. All our volunteers and Interns complete the program with an end of stay certificates. In the past, CAMCWEMEF have received volunteers from Cameroon, Liberia, Ivory - Cost, USA and Holland. In other communities Volunteers will be lodge with an identified family within the villages where there are no hotels. Joint Accommodation: The community can also provide accommodation to a team of volunteers. Private Accommodation: Though this type of accommodation is not easy to find within the communities, we will be able to make such arrangement if volunteers declare their available at least Two - Three months before arrival Support: We strongly appreciate volunteers to source for simple medical equipment and some Medicine as well to help the communities/health facilities. Short stays: we are also accepting group volunteering for shorter duration like Three months at lest. Medical/Health Volunteers needed includes Medical Doctors (General Practitioners, Gynecologist, Pediatricians, Etc), Nurses and some other Health care workers as well as students wishing to offer their service to the communities within stated duration. In the past, we have often extended the services of such teams to include more than one community if need be.
